He might not be everyone’s bottle of water but when a venue recruits the all-conquering trance titan Tiësto for their grand launch you know they mean business.
Since April 2006, this Beijing club has welcomed John Digweed, Deep Dish and Timo Maas to its ornately designed and style- dripped confines.
“Every time I play Beijing it just gets better and better and Coco is as good as its gets,” says DJ Dan.

Undergoing something of a boom, investment continues to pour into Beijing’s club scene and GT Banana is perfect proof. An Amnesia-styled LED screen, Funktion One sound and a hydraulic dancefloor make this one of Beijing’s most hi-tech emporiums and the roll call befits it — Carl Cox, Oakenfold, PvD and Armin Van Buuren sit amongst it.
